Upon arrival in Johannesburg you are welcomed by a Greenhaven representative who will assist you with the check-in for your flight to Port Elizabeth. There your guide/driver awaits you to bring you to biggest malaria-free game reserve in the Eastern Cape. Enjoy the luxury of your suite before meeting your ranger for your first game drive. After spotting the Big Five, unwind during a fabulous dinner.
An early morning game drive will bring you up and close to the ‘wild and wonderful’ Spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing by the pool or – for the more active – joining a bush walk, before your sunset game drive.
The next morning your guide/driver brings you to Port Elizabeth where you can enjoy an invigorating walk on the beach before dinner.
The next two days you can admire the natural beauty of the Garden Route in places like Plettenberg Bay and Knysna, while staying at a stylish boutique hotel.
You will be amazed by the vast panoramas along the road, on your way to the wine region ! You stay for 2 nights at a luxurious guesthouse from where you can discover Stellenbosch, Franschoek and its wonderful wine estates.
Your next discovery is Cape Town, the Mother City, with highlights as Table Mountain and the Cape Peninsula. You stay for 2 nights at a superb hotel in the vibrant V&A Waterfront.
And to end in beauty : the following three days will be unforgettable! The Pride of Africa ( Rovos train ) will take you from Cape Town to Pretoria. Indulge in the superb accommodation, the excellent service of a by-gone era and the gastronomic meals on board.
Upon arrival in Pretoria, your guide/driver awaits you to show you around in this beautiful city. After lunch, he will bring you to the airport for your flight back home.

We created this itinerary for a couple that visited South Africa for the third time.

Upon arrival in Johannesburg you are welcomed by a Greenhaven representative who will assist you with the check-in for your flight to Durban. In Durban our local Greenhaven representative awaits you with all your travel documents, brochures, maps and a welcome present. You pick up the rental car and drive to the beautiful Hibiscus Coast, to Margate.
The next five days you spend exploring the region, enjoying the sun, sand and sea!
Day six you return the rental car in Durban and you fly to Port Elizabeth where you stay over for the night.
The next morning you head for the arid but beautiful Karoo, to the historic town of Graaff Reinet where you spend two nights, visiting the town, the breathtaking Valley of Desolation and Nieu Bethesda.
The following day you drive to Oudtshoorn to visit this ostrich capital.
Then, a full day is spend driving up the scenic Swartberg Pass to Prince Albert, returning to Oudtshoorn via the Seweweekspoort.
The next morning you leave Oudtshoorn and drive via Montagu and the famous Route 62 to Robertson, for your first wine tastings.
From Robertson you head for the Cederberg, to soak up the unique quietness, the most scenic panoramas and the crisp, clean air in a beautiful private nature reserve.
Back to the ‘real’ world the next morning as you drive to Cape Town, the Mother City.
